I want an affordable and professional small office in a good area. How do I go about looking for space?
Right now in this market there are alot of choices for a small office and all kinds of incentives from centers. Before you make a final choice, make sure the center is established. Some executive suite centers have closed down over the past several months because they could not make it. Also, you get what you pay for. Other than some centers offering great deals for year-end, the ones that offer $299 or $399 per office may not be the right choice. Although price is an issue, security and location should be as well. Just do your homework, make a few choices and go visit the centers if you can. If you are out of state, ask alot of questions and maybe even ask them for a few names and numbers of existing tenants for referrals. Also make sure to ask what kind of tenants they allow in their center. You don’t want to be a CPA in a center with a bunch of unseemly occupants.
